Applications Will Open in January for Spring 2022

To be considered for the Harold & Jean Bobbitt, Sr. CTE Scholars Award, students must submit a completed application. We are looking for students who have demonstrated not only academic performance, but also involvement in activities that illustrate leadership, community service, high moral character and similar qualities that exemplify the core values of the STL Scholars Program.

The STL Scholars Scholarship Committee will evaluate applications and invite the top five finalists for a personal interview. To remain eligible for the scholarship award, finalists must complete an in-person interview with the Scholarship Committee in addition to the meeting the scholarship requirements.

Application Deadline is midnight TBD. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted. 

Application Process

Complete application and submit with the following required documents:

1. Copy of current Missouri Driver’s License/State ID
2. Copy of Official transcript (high school or college) with current GPA
3. Copy of letter of admission or proof of current enrollment at a Missouri college, university or technical school
4. Two (2) letters of recommendation from a teacher or employer

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Scholarship Committee based on points using a rubric entailing the scholarship requirements.

• Scholarships up to $1,500 are awarded each semester.
• Recipient can receive up to a maximum of $1,500 in scholarships.
• Applicants must submit a new application for each semester applying.
• The method and schedule for processing applications will be determined by the Board.
• Scholarship recipients will be announced at a time and place designated by the Board.

Payment of Scholarship Funds

Scholarship funds are paid directly to the institution or recipient based on approval by the Board.
